Retail deliveries at Westfield Newmarket face two significant challenges; high deliver volume and congestion in the surrounding road network.
To promote efficiency in retail deliveries and assist in easing congestion on the surrounding road network, the loading dock operation will be managed via an online booking system.
Retailers are responsible for ensuring their delivery companies are registered and understand the booking requirement for all deliveries to Westfield Newmarket.
Booking system
Delivery companies, and retailers who deliver direct, need to register on the website to create an account. To book deliveries simply select the date, dock and time.
A booking confirmation will be generated with a unique access code. This code provides access at the loading dock barrier gate at the start of the designated timeslot.
Delivery companies can manage their bookings on the website. Please ensure bookings are cancelled if they are no longer required.
Bookings can be made in advance or on the day of delivery pending availability.
Please ensure your delivery provider arrives on time and sticks to their allocated timeslot.
The access code is only valid during the booked timeslot. If they arrive late the same exit time applies.
Deliveries occurring between the hours of 8-9am and 3-6pm Monday to Friday, will incur a $5 fee (including GST) per delivery.
This fee will be charged to the delivery provider at the time of booking.
This charge is in place to reduce congestion on the surrounding road network during peak traffic times.
Deliveries outside of these peak times will be free of charge.
5am until one hour after trade.
